Youth Conference

The First Baptist Church hosts the International Youth Conference every July. Thousands of teenagers from across the country and the world gather in Hammond for red-hot preaching, soul-stirring singing, and hilarious skits. In 2006, a record attendance of 10,119 people attended the conference. Pastor Schaap led a line-up of 14 incredible youth speakers.

Using two auditoriums, the Senior High and Junior High teenagers each had their own conference with the preaching geared specifically towards their age group. Dr. Eddie Lapina, Dr. Eric Capaci, Dr. Reno Likins, and Dr. Jon Jenkins highlighted the incredible group of preachers.

Along with a spectacular fireworks show and carnival rides, exciting competitions of Dodgeball, 3-on-3 basketball, and music are a part of the Thursday evening activities at Hyles-Anderson College.
